Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles
1 TBSP olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 diced onion
salt and pepper to taste
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 TBSP Italian seasoning
1 (15 oz) package whole milk ricotta
3 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
2 TBSP parsley leaves
Recipe Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. (Optional) cook pasta per box directions. We did not cook noodles.
3. In your USA Pan 10″ Skillet, heat olive oil over med-high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook until brown, crumbling beef as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes and Italian seasoning.
4. In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1/2 cup mozzarella and egg. Set aside.
5. Spread 1 cup tomato mixture (or pasta sauce) onto bottom of your USA Pan Lasagna Pan. Layer your noodles across the bottom, add ricotta cheese mixture and spread evenly, add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and top with your ground beef mixture.
6. Repeat layers 1-2 more times until all ingredients are gone. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
7. Place in oven and bake 35-45 minutes, or until bubbling. Broil for 2-3 minutes until top is brown in some spots.
8. Let cool for 15 minutes. Serve with parsley (if desired).
